Suthaharan Receives Research Grant

Dr. Suthaharan receives a research grant of $86,000 from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) to perform state-of-the-art research on  “Deep Understanding of Biomarkers of Age-related Macular Degeneration,” during  his research assignment from August 2019 to May 2020. As an adjunct visiting professor, he will be collaborating with ophthalmologists, research scientists, and data analysts from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This research is also partially supported by the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh.
