Special Topics Classes for Spring 2015

The Department of Computer Science is offering two special topics classes in Spring 2015: Software Security (CSC 495-01/680) and Mobile App Development (CSC 495-02). Prof. Tate will be teaching the Software Security class, which will cover common vulnerabilities in software, and how software bugs can have serious security consequences. Andrew Schaeffer will be teaching Mobile App Development, which will cover a range of topics that include mobile programming environment, interface design, communications and connectivity, and application structure and design. For both courses, the minimum pre-requisite is CSC 330, and each course also has a recommended pre-requisite: CSC 339 for Software Security and CSC 340 for Mobile App Development.
