We are currently in Phase I of our project, which involves the collection of digital images of perforated disks. We now have images of ~100 disks from the sites of Mas d’Azil, Grotte du d’Enlène, Bedeilhac, Isturitz, Laugerie-Basse, Espalungue, and Gönnersdorf. Researchers interested in contributing images to the project should ensure that (1) they have the copyrights to do so and (2) the image is of high quality (600dpi) and clearly shows both faces of the disk and especially any engravings on the edges and/or center.
