Karen Schnell is a PhD student at NC A & T in the Computer Science department. Her course work and area of study is focused on Cybersecurity. She has been an adjunct professor for over ten years at NC universities and community colleges teaching Cybersecurity, Management of Information Systems and Computer Science courses. She has worked for Nortel Networks, IBM and Cisco Systems where she has done everything from coding to senior management with customers from around the world. She has four master’s degrees – Computer Engineering with three Cyber Security certificates, MBA, Computer and Electrical Engineering and Nursing. With this background, she enjoys sharing her experiences and expectations to help guide her students to become the next generation that will do great things!
