Department Hosting “Internet of Things” Event

UNCG and the Department of Computer Science are hosting an event focused on industry opportunities and possibilities brought about by the “Internet of Things” (IoT) and analytics of data collected from connected devices. Speakers from IBM, Meridian IT, and TEKsystems will talk about underlying technologies as well as career prospects and expectations. This event will bring together industry and university participants on the UNCG campus, giving UNCG students an opportunity to learn about this exciting and game-changing technology and to interact with industry representatives to explore career opportunities in the area. The event is open to the public, but attendees must pre-register at the event web site.
